Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Rinse the rice until the water runs mostly clear.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Sauté the garlic for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the rice and toast for 2 minutes.
  • Add the broth, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 15–18 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Fluff with a fork, stir in parsley, and serve.
